Carnival Air Lines to relocate ticket counters at JFK to International Arrivals Building.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 1996--Carnival Air Lines announced Wednesday it will relocate its passenger service facilities at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) -- including its ticket counters and arrival/departure gates -- to the east wing of the International Arrivals Building (IAB) on Nov. 27.

The airline has been operating out ot TWA's domestic terminal for the past four years.

"Our new facilities will be more spacious, comfortable and convenient for our passengers," said Carnival Director of Ground Operations Dick Goetz. "Our central location will also facilitate international connections with our foreign interline partners."

During the transition period, passenger service agents will be on hand at the airline's former facilities to assist travelers. The airline will also provide shuttle service between the TWA domestic terminal and the IAB.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Carnival Air Lines is the largest scheduled passenger airline headquartered in Florida. This winter, the low-fare, full-service carrier will operate nine daily schedule departures from JFK (Fort Lauderdale (3/day), Miami (2/day), Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Nassau, and Ponce/Aguadilla).
