Carnival Air Lines and Paradise Island Airlines form major international marketing partnership.

Paradise Island is an island in the Bahamas, north of the island of New Providence which is home to (Nassau). It is best known for the sprawling 'Vegas-by-the-sea resort' Atlantis.

Effective Nov. 15, the two airlines will begin code-sharing on several existing Carnival Air routes between the Northeast, California, Florida and the Bahamas, as well as Paradise Island routes between South Florida and the Bahamas.

Carnival Air Lines, based in Fort Lauderdale, is the largest scheduled passenger airline headquartered in Florida. The eight year-old carrier operates 25 aircraft with scheduled service between the Northeast, Florida, California and the Caribbean.

Fort Lauderdale-based Paradise Island Airlines operates a fleet of five Dash-7 multi-engine aircraft. The carrier plans to add up to two additional aircraft in the next six months. The airline, formed in 1989, primarily offers scheduled service between Paradise Island in the Bahamas and Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Fla.
