Carnegie Requests to Be Released from the Assignments for the Swedish Government.


STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Regulatory News:

Carnegie (STO:CAR) has this evening informed the Minister for Financial Markets Mats Odell Mats Christer Johannes Odell (born April 30, 1947) is a Swedish politician (Christian Democrat) and former minister of communications (1991-1994). Since October 2006 he is Minister for Financial Markets.

Odell was chairman of the Christian Democratic Youth League 1974-1981.
 and the Unit for government ownership that Carnegie has asked to be released from the assignments to assist the Swedish government in the process of divesting their ownership in OMX OMX Office Max (stock symbol)  and SBAB.
