Carnegie Hall Real Estate Council event: October 7, 2008.On October 7, the Carnegie Hall Carnegie Hall Concert hall in New York, N.Y., U.S. It was endowed by the industrialist Andrew Carnegie at the insistence of the conductor Walter Damrosch (1862–1950). Real Estate Council gathered for its annual Fall Event at the hallowed venue. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner and a performance with the Philadelphia Orchestra Philadelphia Orchestra, founded 1900 by Fritz Scheel, who was its conductor until his death in 1907. Scheel was followed by Karl Pohlig (1907–12). Under the leadership (1912–38) of Leopold Stokowski, the orchestra became one of the world's finest and famed pianist Martha Argerich Martha Argerich (born June 5, 1941) is an Argentine concert pianist. Her aversion to the press and publicity has resulted in her remaining out of the limelight for most of her career. She has given relatively few interviews. . Attendees included industry luminaries like Burton Resnick, Jonathan Resnick, Earle Altman, Lester Morse, David Brause, Bernard Spitzer, Benjamin Winter, David Winter, Susan Rose, Gregg Schenker, Kyle Blackmon, Stephanie Goto, Jeffrey Manochcherian, Jonathan Rosen and Jerome Cohen cohen or kohen (Hebrew: “priest”) Jewish priest descended from Zadok (a descendant of Aaron), priest at the First Temple of Jerusalem. The biblical priesthood was hereditary and male. . Membership in the Carnegie Hall Real Estate Council starts at $2,500 per year and offers many benefits, including two dinners and concerts a season.
