Carnegie Cooke Announces Opening of Louisville, Kentucky Office to Facilitate Expansion of Its Turf Data Feed to Brazil.

Richard C. Cummings, Carnegie Cooke's Director of Pari-Mutuel Operations, and formerly Vice-President of the Churchill Downs Churchill Downs, Ky.: see Louisville.  racetrack in Louisville, will head the Louisville office.  racing venues and premier racing brands allows Carnegie Cooke the ability to expand its acquisitions of U. S. racing simulcasts for dissemination to Brazil - its primary racing focus. The acquisition of additional locations will accelerate the ability for the Brazilian bettor to use the simulcast for U.S. wagering."

Carnegie Cooke is a media and distribution company in the Brazilian turf industry. The Brazilian Department of Agriculture reports that in 2003 turf/gaming industry revenues were in excess of US$400 million, in local racing events, using un-mechanized facilities. Carnegie Cooke's Brazilian subsidiary has been granted the right by the Brazilian Association of Jockey Clubs and the endorsement of the Brazilian Government to mechanize mech·a·nize
