In this latest "Artedventure" on the Sanford Corporation's website Carmine carmine /car·mine/ (kahr´min) a red coloring matter used as a histologic stain.

 Chameleon chameleon (kəmē`lēən, –mēl`yən), small- to medium-sized lizard of the family Chamaeleonidae. About eighty species are found in sub-Saharan Africa, with a few in S Asia.  introduces students to the world of architecture. Through a series of on-line learning modules, students discover that architects use special tools; that they make drawings and three-dimensional models of their ideas; and that they must consider such things as function, site, form, and materials when they design buildings and houses. The program has several interactive features which will appeal to young students including a "drag-and-drop" shape program that they can use to design a building facade facade (fəsäd`), exterior face or wall of a building. The term implies ordered placement of its openings and other features and thus seems inapplicable to a wall without design. . A number of "hands-on" classroom activities are presented that encourage students to further explore architectural concepts away from the computer using traditional art materials Techniques and materials related to art:
