Venuti, 52, formerly of Clinton and Marlborough, died Monday, May 25, 2009 in Wingate at Lowell Nursing Home, after a courageous nine year battle with breast cancer. She is survived by two daughters, Tracy A. Freel of Nashua, NH, and Kathleen Freel of Clinton; her parents, John J. and Gloria M. (Chiarelli) Venuti of Clinton; two brothers, John J. Venuti, Jr. of Berlin, and Vincent G. Venuti of Germany; a sister, Susan E. Rowell of Manchester, N.H; a granddaughter, Abigail Criner; and her three cats, Bean, Lulu Belle, and Blackie black·ie n. Offensive Variant of blacky. . A brother, Peter D. Venuti, predeceased her. Carmen was born and raised in Clinton. She was a graduate of Clinton High School Carmen was a lifelong, faithful Christian, and a devoted mother and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmen's Memory to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a fundraising effort to support the Avon Foundation in researching a cure for breast cancer.
