Carmen R. Venuti, 52.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracy A. Freel of Nashua, NH, and Kathleen Freel of Clinton; her parents, John J. and Gloria M. (Chiarelli) Venuti of Clinton; two brothers, John J. Venuti, Jr. of Berlin, and Vincent G. Venuti of Germany; a sister, Susan E. Rowell of Manchester, N.H; a granddaughter, Abigail Criner; and her three cats, Bean, Lulu Belle, and Blackie. A brother, Peter D. Venuti, predeceased her.
Carmen was born and raised in Clinton. She was a graduate of Clinton High School, Class of 1975, and Fisher College. For many years, she was self-employed as a Nanny, retiring due to illness.
Carmen was a lifelong, faithful Christian, and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmen's Memory to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Attn: Tara, 577 Massachusetts Ave., 2nd Fl., Cambridge, MA 02139. Donations will support Carmen's daughter, Kathleen, in the fund-raising walk.
