Carlton counts on Bralower for international contacts.

Carlton Advisory Services' Chairman Howard L. Michaels has announced that John Bralower has joined the firm as Managing Director.

"We are delighted to have someone of John's caliber join Carlton as a senior member of our team," said Mr. Michaels. "It is widely accepted that John is one of the foremost industry experts on large hospitality sales and financing and has a global network of clients."

Mr. Bralower's focus at Carlton, in addition to hospitality, will be to further boost the company's international equity contacts and to spearhead the firm's entry into the investment sales arena.

During his 16-year career at Sonnenblick-Goldman, with five as president, he completed over $10 billion of debt, equity, corporate finance, M&A advisory and leasing transactions for many of the real estate and hospitality industry's leading companies. Prior to joining Carlton, Mr. Bralower was managing director and co-head of global real estate investment banking at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin.

Mr. Bralower has served as a guest speaker for the New York University and UCLA hotel investment conferences, the NYU Real Estate finance conference and the IH&RA Annual Congress in London.

He is an advisory board member of the Lincoln Center Realty and Construction Council and the Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management at New York University. Mr. Bralower is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute. He serves as chairman of the Village of Oyster Bay Cove Planning Board, is a founding director of the North Shore Land Alliance and a founding investor of StarMine Corp. (2004 INC. 500 fastest growing companies, rank 84). In addition, he is a member of the New York State Bar.
