Carlson Leisure Group Acquires Two Minneapolis Travel Agency Locations.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 1998--Demonstrating its commitment to strengthening its base of company owned leisure offices, Carlson Leisure Group today announced it has acquired two Carlson Wagonlit Carlson Travel Network
Carlson Travel Network can trace its origin back to a travel agency that was founded by Ward Forster in the United States in 1888 and named Ask Mr. Foster.
 Travel agency locations in Bloomington and Eagan. Carlson has nearly 50 company owned and franchise Carlson Wagonlit Travel retail travel agencies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.

Carlson Leisure Group now owns and operates more than 30 travel agencies throughout the U.S. under the Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Neiman Marcus Neiman Marcus

U.S. department-store chain. It was founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1907 by Herbert Marcus, his sister Carrie Marcus Neiman, and her husband, A.L. Neiman.
 Travel Services brands. These company owned agencies complement Carlson Leisure Group's network of more than 1,100 Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Travel Agents International franchise locations.
