Carlos Pena joins KJM as Senior Transportation Specialist.

Carlos Pena has joined the Irvine office of KJM & Associates as Senior Transportation Specialist.

Mr. Pena brings more than 18 years of experience in the urban transportation field. His background includes 13 years with the Federal Transit Administration as a community planner. Mr. Pena participated in various teams overseeing the development and implementation of major transit capital improvement projects, most notably the Wisconsin Central Extension to Antioch, Illinois, the Euclid Corridor Transportation project in Cleveland, and the Columbus North Corridor Project in Ohio. Previously, he worked in the City of Chicago's Bureau of Transportation Planning and the Chicago Transit Authority.

Mr. Pena holds a masters degree in urban planning and policy and a bachelors in liberal arts and sciences from the University of Illinois in Chicago. His professional involvement includes membership in the American Planning Association and International Training in Communication.
