) announced today that its Tensolite Company, a manufacturer of high performance cable for aerospace and data transmission markets, has been awarded a five-year contract extension from The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Boeing Commercial Airplanes is a unit of The Boeing Company, based in Renton, Washington consisting of the Seattle-based former Boeing Airplane Company (the civil airliner division), as well as the Long Beach-based Douglas Aircraft division of the former McDonnell Douglas  Group to supply wiring for all Next-Generation 737 and 757 aircraft, as well as other Boeing commercial aircraft to be built through the year 2003.

John Berlin, President of Tensolite Company, stated: "We are excited about this opportunity to extend our more than 25 year relationship with Boeing as a dedicated supplier of state-of-the-art airframe wire and cable."

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Carlisle is a diversified diversified (di·verˑ·s  manufacturer of products serving four major markets: construction materials, industrial components, automotive components and general industry.
