Gold assays have now been received from most of the 28,852 soil samples collected between October and February. Ashanti is now proceeding with the establishment of 12 new detailed grids to further explore large gold targets with soil sampling, rock sampling and geophysics. In addition, small reconnaissance grids will be established on 16 other gold targets. A total of 800 line kilometers of new grids are planned. Trenching followed by drilling is planned on gold zones identified in this grid work.
