As part of the continuing effort to build key partnerships with leading technology providers, Carleton Corporation announces today an extensive alliance with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. By enhancing the data warehousing capabilities of the AS/400 with key partnerships with companies like Carleton Corporation, IBM forecasts doubling the number of AS/400 customer installs in 1997 to over 600 systems. IBM forecast's licensing Carleton's PASSPORT into one of every four AS/400 data warehousing solutions sold. This partnership agreement represents revenue potential of over $1 Million in licensing of the PASSPORT product alone.

PASSPORT is only one of three products currently available through Carleton's MetaCenter Strategy offerings.
