Carla Gazzolo, Paul Miller, Michael Yamaki Elected to Board of LA Sports & Entertainment Commission.


LOS ANGELES -- Carla Gazzolo, Paul Miller and Michael Yamaki, three Southern California business executives, have been elected to the board of directors of the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC), it was announced today by Kathy Schloessman, LASEC president.

 Daum; Miller is managing director of the Los Angeles office of Deutsche Bank; and Yamaki is the managing corporate officer of The Riviera Country Club The Riviera Country Club is a country club with a championship golf course. It is located in Pacific Palisades, California, within the city limits of Los Angeles, California. The country club opened in 1926, with George C. Thomas, Jr. as the course architect. . All three will serve for two-year terms.

A commercial real estate veteran, Gazzolo joined GVA Daum earlier this year. Founded in 1904, with headquarters in Los Angeles, GVA Daum is California's oldest and most experienced commercial real estate brokerage company. Before joining GVA Daum, Gazzolo was with CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  for 23 years; she then founded her own consulting firm which she ran until assuming her present position.

Miller recently joined Deutsche Bank after spending 10 years with U.S. Trust Co. where he was senior vice president and senior relationship officer. Previously he was with Security Pacific National Bank for 12 years and also with Bank of America

Yamaki earned a B.A. degree in psychology from UCLA and a J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles The University of West Los Angeles (UWLA) is a private, non-profit School of Law with two campuses in the Los Angeles metropolitan area in Inglewood and Woodland Hills, California. The School of Law is accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of The State Bar of California.  School of Law. In addition to his position at The Riviera, he is director of golf for the state of Hawaii, and he recently was appointments secretary to California Governor Gray Davis. He has been involved in many civic and community affairs.
