McGee brings over 28 years of experience in the semiconductor and industrial capital equipment business to Carl Zeiss SMT. With outstanding career steps at Varian Semiconductor Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: VSEA) is a supplier of ion implantation equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor chips. Varian Semiconductor was founded in 1971 as Extrion Corporation in Peabody, Massachusetts.  and Tencor, Dan most recently held the position of Vice President IBM Global Alliance at KLA-Tencor. There, he had responsibility for all sales, service, technical and marketing activities supporting IBM Microelectronics and the development activities of its alliance partners: AMD (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, www.amd.com) A major manufacturer of semiconductor devices including x86-compatible CPUs, embedded processors, flash memories, programmable logic devices and networking chips. , Chartered, Samsung, and Infineon.
