Pesta recently retired as the medical director at both the Church of Christ Care Center in Mt. Clemens, Mich., and the Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, Mich. In addition, he is certified by the American Board of Medical Management and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. After earning his degree in 1963 from the Chicago College of Osteopathy osteopathy (ŏstēŏp`əthē), practice of therapy based on manipulation of bones and muscles. This school of medicine, founded by A. T. , now known as Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Ill., Pesta completed an internship at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Trenton, Mich. and an internal medicine residency at Mount Clemens (Mich.)
