Carl Albing joins Unimax Systems.MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 1, 1995--Unimax Systems Corp. announced the addition of Carl Albing to the Unimax software and management team as Software Engineering Manager. "Unimax has been looking to add an Engineering Manager for several months now," said Andrew Hunkins, Chief Technical Officer. "This is a critical enhancement to our engineering team and Carl is the perfect choice. His experience with software process, life cycle and management will help accelerate Unimax's growth." As Software Engineering Manager, Albing will be responsible for managing multiple software development projects, as well as managing the customer support and quality assurance departments. Albing has over 20 years of development and leadership experience in the software industry. Most recently he served as a manager of software development for CAMAX Manufacturing Technologies Inc., where he had full lifecycle responsibilities over all phases of development projects. Prior to CAMAX, Albing held various technical and leadership positions for Cray Research See Cray. . He was chosen for Cray's Project Everest in 1989, and the Cray (Cray, Inc., Seattle, WA, www.cray.com) A supercomputer manufacturer founded in 1972 as Cray Research, Inc., by Seymour Cray, a leading designer of large-scale computers at Control Data.
