Setters have long hair on the ears, chest, legs, and tail. and his wife Eleanor, 81, were married at Holy Spirit in Dovecot on July 3, 1943,and daughter Jean organised a party for relatives. Dozens of the close-knit family came from all over Merseyside and were joined by grandchildren Karen, 24, and Philip, 29. Eleanor said: ``I remember everything about our wedding day. ``Although there was rationing during the war everyone pulled together and we had a lot of guests. ``I found some material and made my own dress and we even had two bridesmaids. ``We had food and drink and dancing until midnight, it was wonderful.'' And the secret of their success? Eleanor said: ``It's sharing everything and being honest with each other because you spend so much time together. ``We would do it all again.''
