Caribou Coffee expands to Chapel Hill Market; First store opens Nov. 18.


CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1995-- Minneapolis-based Caribou coffee Caribou Coffee is a specialty coffee retailer, the second largest in the U.S.[2] Caribou concentrates on selling gourmet coffees, teas, and bakery goods in over 464 coffeehouses in 18 states.  has expanded to the Chapel Hill, N.C. market.

The gourmet coffee retailer will open its first coffeehouse in Chapel Hill on November 18. The coffeehouse is located at 110 West Franklin Street The following roads are named Franklin Street:
  • Franklin Street (Baltimore) in Maryland, United States
  • Franklin Street (Chapel Hill) in North Carolina, United States
  • Franklin Street (Manhattan) in New York, United States
