Upon accepting the donation, NBCF President Janelle Hail said, "The impact of this generous donation has a far-reaching effect to save women's lives. Every 12 minutes a woman dies of breast cancer. With prevention and early detection we can help women be proactive in protecting their own health and offer hope for their future." Hail is a 23-year breast cancer survivor and tireless crusader to teach women about the disease.

The total amount of the donation was $28,602.00. Caribou raised $14,051.00, which The Coca-Cola Company matched. An anonymous donor added another $500.00. Ms. Hail accepted the check at a Caribou Coffee in Atlanta.

"When Caribou told us about this project we wanted to help," said Sandy Douglas, Coca-Cola Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. "The Coca-Cola Company is pleased to match Caribou's donation to this worthy cause."

Underneath it all is a subtle yet delightful hint of melon melon, fruit of Cucumis melo, a plant of the family Curcurbitaceae (gourd family) native to Asia and now cultivated extensively in warm regions. There are many varieties, differing in taste, color, and skin texture—e.g.  flavor. Amy's is a lighter roast made up of beans from Africa and the Americas.
