Caribbean Winter League Baseball Broadcast Schedule Announced for 2003 Season.Sports, Business & Entertainment Editors LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 2002 Fox Sports En Espanol will offer more than 30 telecasts, including playoffs, of Winter League baseball from Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. The Venezuelan league, making its second consecutive season appearance on the network, will be televised each Friday at 7:00 p.m. (EST). The Dominican baseball league, also returning to Fox Sports en Espanol for its third consecutive season, begins on Saturday, November 16 at 8:00 p.m. (EST), and will retain a Saturday schedule through the season that concludes on January 29, 2003. Both of these Winter baseball leagues are carried exclusively in the United States on Fox Sports en Espanol. The Venezuelan baseball league consists of eight teams divided in two divisions.
