Cargill subsidiary Emerald Renewable Energy LLC announces plans to develop four 100 million-gallon-per-year ethanol plants in the Midwestern United States.


Cargill subsidiary Emerald Renewable Energy Renewable energy utilizes natural resources such as sunlight, wind, tides and geothermal heat, which are naturally replenished. Renewable energy technologies range from solar power, wind power, and hydroelectricity to biomass and biofuels for transportation.  LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

 announces plans to develop four 100 million-gallon-per-year ethanol plants in the Midwestern United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. . The company is also considering several sites in the Cornbelt.

The plants will use nearly 40 million bushels of corn annually and produce 100 million gallons of ethanol and over 300,000 tons of dry distillers grains for animal feed yearly.
