Cargill Inc. (Industry News).


Cargill Inc., Minneapolis, says quarterly earnings rose 25 percent amid strong showings in its food ingredients and grain businesses. The company says earnings in the second quarter, ended Nov. 30, rose to $321 million from $256 million a year earlier. Cargill claimed the majority of its businesses around the world delivered better results than a year ago, including units operating under challenging conditions in Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela and Ivory Coast Ivory Coast: see Côte d'Ivoire..
