Cares Built, Inc. a privately held technology development and distribution company of medical x-ray technology and general radiographic equipment is very pleased to announce that the company has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its new motor driven mobile x-ray system called Hercules 7000.

This marks a major development for the company as their new Hercules 7000 is the most powerful x-ray portable in the world, capable of 500 mA radiographs. Tim Telymonde, President and CEO says "this very powerful system is capable of being a rad room on wheels. Its a rarity for a single product to have significant market advantages in all areas. Hercules is a special portable for its superiority in power, positioning, and propulsion. Dr. Hong Liu, a noted physicist from John Hopkins University, in Baltimore, MD comments; "The dual power supply provides two power sources, therefore extensive mobility does not drain the power supply." He added that the system can be used for quite some applications because the system can operate in 3-pt., 2-pt., or APR giving radiographic technique capabilities up to 500 mA!"

Cares Built has recently launched this new system through its national dealer network and will be displaying the Hercules 7000 at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) trade show in Chicago in November.
