Carelessness can be costly.

Dear Bowhunter,

On October 16, 2010, I put up a treestand to hunt a nice 10-point I'd seen that morning. After trimming a branch, I loaded my cutter on to my quad. When I turned around to go home, the rope on the cutter fed into my ATV's axle and subsequently around my thumb, severing it completely. In the process of having my thumb repaired and a skin graft skin graft Autologous, donated, or surrogate skin removed from one site to cover surfaces on another region with 3rd-degree burns or traumatic tissue loss.  was torn. As a result, I am currently unable to shoot my bow, and it's killing me! I hope this letter will prevent other bowhunters from getting injured by being careless, like I was. Keep up the great work!
