Career booster for teen.


A young Ryton man has proved to have the X-factor after leaving school and gaining an apprenticeship apprenticeship, system of learning a craft or trade from one who is engaged in it and of paying for the instruction by a given number of years of work. The practice was known in ancient Babylon, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, as well as in modern Europe and to some extent  position at Springfield Peugeot.

When the Gateshead car dealership interviewed for an administration apprentice A person who agrees to work for a specified time in order to learn a trade, craft, or profession in which the employer, traditionally called the master, assents to instruct him or her.  in May, one candidate stood out from the rest.

With his enthusiasm to learn and confidence to succeed, Jonathan Marshall made such an impression he was snapped up straight away. Jonathan, 17, was studying for A-levels when he was put forward for the interview by Gateshead-based Access Training.

He had initially applied to the training agency following advice from his cousin, Andrew Gibson Andrew Gibson (born May 31, 1979 in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian curler from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He currently plays lead for Mark Dacey.

Gibson has been playing for Dacey since 2003.
, who is employed by Access Training in its administration department.

Andrew had recently completed an apprenticeship in administration himself and told Jonathan how it really helped him develop his skills as well as gain valuable qualifications.

Jonathan is settling in well at Springfield Peugeot.

He said: "I'm really enjoying the challenge of my new post and already feel part of a great team. I'm keen to make a career in this type of work and believe the apprenticeship programme will give me the skills and qualifications to do this".
