) today announced it has completed its acquisition of the Brooks Institute of Photography The Brooks Institute of Photography is a for-profit college based in Santa Barbara, California and Ventura, California. Brooks offers four majors. The Still photography program is based in Santa Barbara, and the Visual communications (Graphic Design), Motion Picture/Video and , located in Santa Barbara, California Santa Barbara is a city in California, United States. It is the county seat of Santa Barbara County, California. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 92,325. . Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The school has approximately 300 students currently enrolled and will continue to operate under its current name.

CEC (Central Electronic Complex) The set of hardware that defines a mainframe, which includes the CPU(s), memory, channels, controllers and power supplies included in the box. Some CECs, such as IBM's Multiprise 2000 and 3000, include data storage devices as well.  announced on January 19, 1999 that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire Brooks Institute. It is the Company's fourth acquisition so far this year and expands CEC's visual communication curriculum into photography and filmmaking.
