CareWide, Inc. Announces New Vice President of Sales and New Director of Product Management.

CareWide, Inc., the first internet-based Application Service Provider (ASP) of comprehensive, web-based, physician ePracticeManagement(TM) solutions and services, announced today the addition of two new members of its management team. Gerry Hofmann has been appointed the Company's Vice President of Sales, and Christy Bosely has been named Director of Product Management.

Most recently, Mr. Hofmann served as the Director of Sales for Companion Technologies, which provides financial, clinical and managed care, information management solutions to physician groups. Ms. Bosley joins CareWide, Inc. from Avio International Corporation, a healthcare information technology company located in Maitland, FL, where she served as the Manager of Channel Services.

Mr. Hofmann has over 15 years experience developing and implementing innovative sales programs for practice management solution providers. As Director of Sales for the CTPA division of Companion Technologies, he introduced new systems applications and reporting procedures and expanded the department by almost fifty-percent. From 1987 through 1998, Mr. Hofmann held several management positions with Medic Computer Systems, Inc. (formerly known as Execu-Flow Systems, Inc.). Mr. Hofman expanded the sales department and was responsible for developing the sales team that established Execu-Flow as a premier practice management vendor in the Mid-Atlantic region. As the company extended its service capabilities and regional coverage, Mr. Hofmann assumed greater responsibilities as a sales manager and eventually as Regional Manager of Hospital Services.

In this role she served as an industry and product expert for Avio and managed the sales and service efforts of new channel partners. She was also responsible for marketing and product development, as well as training and implementation for new products. Previous marketing and service positions at Medaphis Physician Services, Cycare Systems and CSC Healthcare Systems contribute to Ms. Bosley's wealth of experience in the healthcare technology industry.
