CareFirst Selects Urix to Implement State-of-the-Art Health Claims Analysis and Reporting Solution.

Urix announced today it has signed a contract with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to provide the non-profit health insurer with an analytics and reporting solution designed to supply employer-group accounts with automatically-produced executive summary reports, supplemented by an intuitive, drill-down tool for web-based analysis of claims data.

It is also capable of providing select group accounts with web-based access to the Urix interface, including in-depth analysis on claims information, the forecast of medical costs with the integrated predictive modeling tool, and the ability to compare utilization and costs to benchmark data.
