Bridgehill mother Anne has found a lifeline life·line

 at the Derwentside Carers' Centre, where emotional and practical support is on offer to anyone caring for a loved one.

Anne's husband walked out on her when her daughter Diane was a teenager ( and since then a huge network of support from friends and relatives has dwindled.

 and elderly to help," she said. "I wouldn't be able to cope without my friends at the Carers' Centre. They understand how difficult it can be at times."
