Care Group to acquire nursing agency; Third acquisition in past 60 days.


Group Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:CARE) today announced that it had reached an agreement in principle to purchase Bellmore Nurses Agency of Bellmore, NY.

Bellmore provides home health care services throughout Queens and Nasaau Counties.

Recently, The Care Group announced agreements to purchase Therapeutic Innovations Inc. of Houston and Peachtree Medical of Marietta, Ga. These three acquisitions are a series of proposed purchases that will be taking place throughout the remainder of 1995 and into 1996 and currently represent revenues that exceed 10 percent of the company's present revenue base. The company is one of the three dozen largest home health care companies in the country with offices coast-to-coast.
