CardioVascular Dynamics Announces Initial Public Offering of 3,400,000 Shares of Common Stock.


IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 1996--CardioVascular Dynamics, Inc. (CVD CVD Cardiovascular disease, see there ), (Nasdaq National Market Symbol -- CCVD CCVD Communauté de Communes du Val de Drôme

) announced today that it has made an initial public offering of 3,400,000 shares of its Common Stock at a price of $12.00 per share.

All of the 3,400,000 shares are being offered by the Company. In addition, the Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase 510,000 shares of Common Stock to cover over-allotments, if any. The offering is being made through an underwriting group managed by Volpe, Welty & Co., Wessels, Arnold & Henderson, L.L.C., and Vector Securities International, Inc.
