Cardinal Technologies Brand to Continue Under Hayes Leadership.


LANCASTER, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 1997--Cardinal Technologies Inc. today announced that Hayes Microcomputer Products Hayes Microcomputer Products was a U.S.-based manufacturer of modems. They are particularly well known for their Smartmodem, which introduced the ability to control the modem through commands sent in the data stream itself.  Inc. will keep the Cardinal brand active in the U.S. retail market after purchasing the company.
