Cardinal Bank to Open First Banking Office in Maryland.


TYSONS CORNER, Va. -- Cardinal Bank is pleased to announce that it plans to open a banking office at 7315 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland Bethesda is an urbanized, but unincorporated, area in southern Montgomery County, Maryland, just Northwest of Washington, D.C. It takes its name from a church located there, the Bethesda Presbyterian Church, built in 1820 and rebuilt in 1850, which in turn took its name from  20814. The office is located in the Air Rights Center at the corner of Waverly Street and Wisconsin Avenue in the heart of downtown Bethesda. It will be Cardinal Bank's first community banking location in Montgomery County, Maryland Montgomery County of the U.S. state of Maryland is situated just north of Washington, D.C. and Southwest of Baltimore. It is one of the most affluent counties in the nation[1], and has the highest percentage (29.  and 24th office in its footprint. The anticipated opening date is third quarter, 2006.
