Cardiac Pathways Announces Reduction in Force.


SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--March 11, 1999--Cardiac Pathways Corp. (Nasdaq:CPWY) today announced a reduction in force of approximately 25% of its current employees.

The workforce reductions were company-wide and were made to further reduce operating spending and to align available resources and operations. In February 1999, the company implemented a 15% reduction in force. The company will record an aggregate charge of approximately $225,000 related to these actions during the quarter ended March 31, 1999.
