Card fraud worry.


I read the letter 'Card number stolen', (GDN GDN Garden (postal suffix)

, April 14) and was wondering why some machines print out all the 16 digits of the credit card, which can be misused.

Some may say that the card still requires the Care Verification Value, but this can be easily remembered if someone at the cash counter wants.

There are many machines which print out only the last four digits, which is much safer.

I can't understand why all machines don't do the same.

 all Point Of Sale machines so that only the last four digits will be printed in the receipt?

I think this can solve the issue of 'stealing' to a great extent.
