WORCESTER, Mass. -- Improvements in Carborundum's Carbo GoldCut(TM) depressed center wheels extend the life of the wheel by at least 25 percent allowing operators to use fewer wheels each day, resulting in less "downtime" spent changing wheels. Shops that have switched to the new Carbo GoldCut wheels have increased productivity and lowered total grinding cost.

The Carbo GoldCut depressed center wheels are used on right-angle grinders in welding and metal fabrication shops for general purpose cutting applications. The improved bond provides at least 25 percent longer life over previous generations of Carbo GoldCut and comparably-priced competitive depressed center cutting wheels. The new formula works particularly well for cutting stainless steel and in any application where material contamination should be avoided.

The improved wheels are available in 4 1/2-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch diameters, .045 thickness and 7/8-inch holes to fit the standard right-angle air and electric grinders.
