Carbonates Continues to Dominate South African Soft Drinks.

DUBLIN, Ireland -- Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c46269) has announced the addition of Euromonitor International's "Functional Drinks in South Africa" to their offering.

Despite the growing trend towards healthier beverages, carbonates continued to dominate both the off-trade and on-trade soft drinks market in South Africa in 2005. Accounting for 72% of off-trade volume sales and 94% of on-trade value sales, carbonates remained the undisputed leader.
