Carbon Motors partners with BASF.
Carbon Motors Corp. has chosen the BASF Coatings as its partner for
the development of UV-cure film chemicals and processes to be used on
the thermoplastic exterior skin panels of the Carbon E7 Law Enforcement
Patrol Vehicle, currently being designed and engineered by Carbon
Motors. The E7 will be the first vehicle to use UV cure film technology
on the entire exterior surface. Production of the Carbon Motors E7 Law
Enforcement Patrol Vehicle is expected to begin in the 2012 time-frame.
