CarParts Technologies Expands Management Team to Accelerate Growth; Alan Bennett, Executive Chairman of CarParts Technologies, Appoints David McCann as CEO.

CarParts Technologies Inc., the leading provider of integrated supply-chain management solutions to the automotive aftermarket, announced today that it has appointed Dave McCann as the company's new Chief Executive Officer. McCann, an experienced software executive, will work with Bennett at CarParts Technologies to manage and accelerate the growth of the company.

CarParts Technologies has experienced substantial growth in the last year, including multi-million dollar contracts with Fountain Tire, Merchant Tire and ProCare for its Shop Management System, and a large increase in contracts for the company's ERP/Supply Chain system from major automotive distributors such as ASCO ASCO American Society of Clinical Oncology

"Our recent growth has created the need for additional senior management, and we sought a senior software industry executive to complement our automotive expertise. We are excited to have someone with Dave's extensive software industry and managerial background join the company," said Bennett. McCann will manage the organic growth of the company, running the company's internal operations, and take a seat on the company's Board, reporting to Bennett. He will also be in charge of integrating the company's acquisitions.
