Boston drivers parking in downtown lots today will see the road more clearly tonight as troops of friendly windshield washers span the city to share the good news about Boston's newest automotive enterprise, CarDay.

CarDay, an online auction for certified, warranteed used cars, celebrates its Boston launch today by declaring May 1st "Clean CarDay." CarDay Samaritans will be stationed at five downtown FitzInn parking lots, cleaning patrons' car windshields and handing out free promotional items.

CarDay (www.carday.com) is a powerful new way for consumers to buy or sell pre-owned vehicles. By participating in a CarDay on-line auction, buyers and sellers can realize more value because CarDay uses experienced local auto experts to manage all transactions on their behalf.
