Car thief's jail sentence cut.A THIEF who stole a paramedic's car on New Year's Eve and then tried to set it on fire won a cut in his jail term yesterday. He was handed a total sentence of 12 months, but Appeal Court judges in London judges ruled that he received more than the maximum for the vehicle taking and reduced the sentence to nine months.
