Car ploughs into front of house.


A MIDLAND dad last night said he feels "lucky to be alive" after a car veered off the road and ploughed into the front of his house.

And section leader Kevin said it was the THIRD accident in two years outside the semi-detached home which he shares with wife Liz and and 16 yearold son Steven.

"I feel lucky to be alive in that we weren't in the living room, but I'm angry that residents living on this road have had accidents but no-one is helping us," he said. "A car just missed our house two years ago and last year a woman hit a lamppost right outside." The female driver hurt her arm and a female passenger sustained a back injury in yesterday's accident..
