 44 years of road bans.

Ray Beecham, 54, has been flouting the driving laws since 1973 when he passed his L-test.

Since then, he's been caught drink-driving six times and racked up 44 years worth of bans in 12 separate court raps.

The Londoner was jailed for four and a half months after getting a fresh three-year ban from Greenwich magistrates this week.

He was caught behind the wheel in Kent on June 19 and the latest ban means he's now off the road until 2037.
