Captus Networks Appoints Joseph R. Williams CFO and Vice President, Finance.

Joseph Rickelson Williams (November 14 1808 – June 15 1861) was a politician and the first president of the Agricultural College of the U. S.
 as chief financial officer and vice president, finance. In his new positions, Williams is responsible for overseeing all of Captus Networks' financial operations, including administration, venture funding, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offering activities.

Williams brings to Captus more than 25 years of financial management experience from software, laser, semiconductor, and other high-technology companies. Most recently, he was CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  at Blue Fox, Inc., a start-up semiconductor manufacturer, where he completed a $3.4 million bridge financing and $18 million Series A venture-financing round. Prior to that, he held progressively senior financial management positions at Coherent, Inc., the world's leading laser manufacturer, culminating in a five-year tenure as vice president, finance. His achievements at Coherent included successful completion of numerous mergers with domestic and international companies, enabling Coherent to grow to a billion-dollar valuation.
