TWO South African radio stars were taken hostage last week as part of a security drill for the 2010 World Cup.

Any plant of the genus Jacaranda (family Bignoniaceae), especially the two ornamental trees J. mimosifolia and J. cuspidifolia.
 FM were dragged out of a briefing by armed, masked men and forced in to a "hijacked" jet.

Army planes then forced the rogue aircraft to land and the hostages were eventually released after careful negotiations.

The drill was apparently a huge success and journalists can now rest easy ahead of next year's finals.
