Captiva to Be Included in the New Russell Microcap Index; Input Management Leader to Be Added as of June 24th.

SAN DIEGO -- Captiva Software Corporation (NASDAQ:CPTV), a leading provider of input management solutions, today announced that it will be included in the new Russell Microcap(TM) Index as of the close of trading on June 24.

Russell Investment Group's Microcap Index will be comprised of the smallest 1,000 securities in the small-cap Russell 2000(R) Index plus the next largest 1,000 companies, based on a ranking of all U.S. equities by market capitalization. This new index offers fund managers and other investors a comprehensive, unbiased barometer to compare their performance against a genuine microcap marketplace of stocks.

Companies slated for the Russell Microcap Index were ranked as of May 31 by total market capitalization and weighted based on a free-float adjustment, an integral aspect of Russell index methodology.
