Captiva Software Corp., the leader in information-capture software, has teamed with Adobe Systems in its integration of Adobe Acrobat(TM) Capture 2.01 software into Captiva's FormWare(TM) V2.5 and Genesis(TM), forms-processing and document-capture products.

Captiva is now able to capture text and layout information from both paper, structured documents -- medical claims, tax forms, credit applications -- and unstructured documents correspondence, legal filings, technical manuals -- in PDF (portable document format) files that can be easily printed, shared with colleagues, archived or published on the Web.
