Captiva Expands European Presence to Benelux Region; Information-Capture Leader Appoints Veteran Xerox and Kodak Executive to Lead Benelux Expansion.

Captiva Software Corp., the leader in information capture software, today announces the establishment of a regional office serving the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux) region, continuing the company's aggressive international growth.

This announcement follows Captiva's recent expansion in the UK and Australia, and it illustrates Captiva's commitment toward full-service sales and support in European markets.

To lead this Benelux expansion initiative, Captiva has appointed Hans Hollink as regional sales manager. He will be responsible for managing the Benelux office, handling direct sales, developing channel partner relationships with systems integrators and VARs and overseeing the delivery of all professional and technical services.

Hollink comes to Captiva with vast experience in the information capture and imaging industries, including three years with Xerox Netherlands and 23 years at Kodak Netherlands. As Xerox's European channel sales manager, Hollink directed a team responsible for developing channel sales programs for a variety of image-capture products and services.

Previously, Hollink served as Benelux sales manager and technical support specialist for Kodak Netherlands. In this capacity, Hollink was instrumental in increasing direct and channel sales revenues and technical support services for imaging products including scanners, storage jukeboxes, CD-Recordables, microfilm hardware and software and optical systems.
