Captiva Enhances Performance of InputAccel.

SP3 provides substantially enhanced performance and improved efficiency of InputAccel, and allows users to process more documents in a shorter amount of time and obtain the maximum benefit from their InputAccel system.

Included in this new release are several new features that optimize optimize - optimisation  the speed and performance of InputAccel. Foremost among these is the vastly improved version of the InputAccel Server, which now employs optimized algorithms to significantly increase batch handling. Such upgrades empower empower verb To encourage or provide a person with the means or information to become involved in solving his/her own problems  existing InputAccel customers to process significantly more documents using their existing server hardware. The new InputAccel Server offers users the ability to:
-- Create document batches up to 160 percent faster

-- Load, unload and delete batches up to 35 percent faster

-- Reduce batch size 50 percent

-- Decrease start up time up to 75 percent

-- Cache more batches in memory at one time


Beta testers of the new InputAccel Server report significantly improved InputAccel performance during their rigorous evaluation processes.

In addition to improving the InputAccel Server, SP3 also introduces a new version of the open database connectivity See ODBC.
